Poem #16
I am still not 100% happy with that title.
Every so often, I create something that’s so far out of my comfort zone to be unbelievable. This was written for a Zoom Open Mic with less than a dozen participants. I’d expected far more, and also had expected a completely different type of audience. I overcooked hugely as a result, but afterwards, it would not leave me alone.
My relationship with exercise has been erratic over the years. I started doing it properly in 2016 and since then I’ve put on 8 kilos of muscle thanks to bodybuilding, This too is not what I’d expected, but now I don’t want to be anything else than what I am There are some corners that need sanding, sure, but I’m really very happy.
Long poems frighten me. I’m not great with climbing, but that’s getting better. Flying is the dream I always love and, as previously discussed, fractals are my bag, baby. There’s a bit of everything in this one. Enjoy the change of pace, and two whole pages.
Myths are mostly Greek to me.
