That six lines took a phenomenal amount of effort to generate this morning, but as a result there’s been a bit of an unblocking of of the poetry pathways… demonstrated by this unexpected, second poem.

Nothing at all is working the way it should be today. However, with the application of coffee and good food, that has begun to change. Destiny is in my hands, after all. It is probably the moment to start making more of that than I currently do…

Today, I exorcized some demons. It was purely for my benefit, and the resultant satisfaction from the effort is more considerable than I’d expected. It doesn’t need to be about other people, only you sometimes. However smart and clever it seems, often life is neither. It boils down to you and what allows you the ability to be comfortable.

Today, I am far more comfortable than I was yesterday.

Bad dreams made for a difficult start to the day, and honestly it got worse after that. However, much has been salvaged, and work got done. The past remains often discomforting and depressing, but that’s just how life works sometimes. The future is what needs to be aimed for without exception. We’re getting there.

I have been able to organize away quite a bit today: not everything is perfect, but there is a lot of good that’s come out of the day, including this being scheduled ahead of time for the first time in a while. That, alone, is probably worth celebrating 😀

Today, we changed the Exercise portion of the game plan: shifted it about, increased the workload and generally altered the focus. The plan is simple: I want to be stronger, better and happier. All those things are within my reach if I work hard enough, and so I am. This is the future, on my terms and with a very specific goal in mind.

Let’s see how everything pans out…

It won’t notice a lot from here, but today has been an absolutely cracking week for poetry. I am SO pleased with my own achievements, which I’ll talk about in more detail at the weekend, but for now THIS IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL I HAVE EVER BEEN, and it might be an idea to get that printed on a T-shirt for an upcoming event…

There has been War in Europe during my lifetime. I will get through this the same way I have all the times before, when there was also chaos. There will be good and bad days. We will deal with them all.
