It’s not the weekend yet, despite my brain’s best efforts to make it happen through sheer force of will. After neatly a decade, I also sorted out the ability to post shortened links for the audio when posting on Twitter, which might not seem lime much to you but is a major triumph for me. It’s the tiny steps forward that often make the biggest difference. Anyway, less chat, here’s your audio and poetry:
#Instaverse : #March 26th, 2021 : Empty at the End
Okay, change in organizational plan this morning, and I’ll sort out some better graphics starting next week. For now, we’ll use the same one, and then I can come back and swap new ones in… already have an idea, which is lovely. I worry the days when there isn’t a new idea, that’s always the sign it’s time to take a break. Right, here’s how this now works:
I write the poem, then I record the verse, and then both are uploaded. I then do the Tweet, with a link to the audio, and reproduce the audio here:
#Instaverse : March 25th, 2021 : Absolutely Enough
I added some extra context onto the poem today. That will probably take place more going forward.
Good morning and welcome back to what will (hopefully) be a five day weekly posting cycle for me on the site. We’re going to restart content by introducing something I started last week on Twitter: the #Instaverse is my daily warm-up, a means by which my brain checks whether we’re capable of literally stringing sentences together to start the day. There will undoubtedly be those moments when I take a break from this, but right now that’s already weekends so hopefully, this becomes part of my ‘work’ remit, Monday to Friday.
I already know how important it is to establish a routine to maintain my mental wellbeing. This is already an extension of that.
Today's #Instaverse began on the School run home, forcing me to stop the car and use Evernote on my mobile. This will not be the last time this happens. This is a new journey, only just beginning… pic.twitter.com/Xh2pZdoXmb

The development this morning will be that I recorded an MP3 of this, with a short explanation. As time goes on, these will probably become larger. As WordPress is pushing me to use audio on my site, let’s give it a go.
Instaverse : March 24th, 2021 : Almost Home
All the poems will be published in a newsletter at the weekend, and I’ll sort out a page for all the audio in the next few days.
