I no longer can be found on Instagram. Even as a photographer since my teens, the platform remains unpleasantly difficult to get my head around. That’s partly to do with it being an adjunct of Facebook (which for the record you will also never find me on or using) but mostly because the entire concept of how to use imagery as storytelling has altered so spectacularly in such a short space of time.
Ideas have been played with for a couple of years now, but it is only in 2020 that there’s been a comfort within that process. My first major effort of the year, #Foodand Me, is where difficulties of the past are forgotten: sometimes, difficult things need to be completed in order to move an entire creative mindset forward.
My previous projects are listed here in rough date order but do not accurately represent presence on the platform. As of 2021, I will no longer using it for advertising or publication, so this is the only place you can now find these pieces.
